Dare to Get Dirty 2009

I'm having fun playing in the dirt pile over on SCS with the "dirty girls". This is an SCS Fan Club perk...playing along with the "dirty girls" accepting challenges to create papercrafting items using various techniques, colors, etc.

I combined FOUR challenges:
- CHALLENGE: Embellishable You/Hues of Blue
- CHALLENGE: Incorporate WINGS into your creation!
- CHALLENGE: Create a non-traditional sized card
- CHALLENGE: use More Mustard, Real Red, and Bashful Blue


I really had a hard time getting this going. When I finally got two Top Notes shaped cards cut...I stamped the twig and got yucky shadows. On both of them! Great! So I cut two more Top Notes cards...I stamped the frame and got the middle of the frame stamped red on the card. Got ready to stamp on the second...wait FOURTH card and discovered Real Red ink smeared on the card front. GREAT! Took a craft knife to that stamp and removed the middle. Dug out the big shot again and this time, cut FOUR Top Notes shaped cards! Three survived...

I love yellow and red. I have a layout I did a while back with yellow and red. These two colors just POP. The Bashful Blue really provides a calming effect. I will post the layout soon.
